Yes, and it is exactly what I said - may rely to LDAP bug (100%) when it
runs on journaling file system (which never lost changes) but not to
the ReiserFS.
Anyway, it have a very useful workaround (I guess, why they did not do it
before - of course, if you did not closed LDAP database properly, you must
run recover on the new restart - it is just an axiom). And it is LDAP bug,
100% (why it keeps files in intermediate state, having all data extremely
static and unchanged for the days)?
PS. I run LDAP on ext3 journalling file system, with /var on separate FS,
server crashes few times (sometimes hard because I experimented with
OCFSv2), and it never caused any LDAP problems.
