Thanks much for the tips, Alexei, especially in regards to the default
profile. Very helpful. I haven't configured system backup on this
server, since I've built it specifically to create custom installation
CDs. Once the CDs are made, the server I used to create them is due
for re-purposing....

I've succeeded in making an installation image without the 3ware
module - my next task is to figure out how to get it and it's pre- and
post-install scripts worked into the installation packages. I'll dig
deeper into the installed documentation to see what I can find. Part
of the problem I've experienced with this project has been learning a
new vocabulary (YAST- and SuSE-specific terms and such). Getting the
lingo figured out greatly increases the probability of success with a
Google or grep search. :)
