In the past, we had only one problem with old firmware on the
Raid-Controller of our HP 350-Series Servers . The machines crashed when
using the HP-Management-Tools for Hardwaremonitoring.
I had experience with Dell, HP and IBM and can recommend this brands.
Most of our Servers runs HP, where you get a very good software-support
with linux. In example, you get snmp-tools to monitor the hardware (HP
Insight Manager).
