Don't make your life too hard and only use Linux distributions certified
by Oracle. For Oracle 9.2 it is SLES 9. If you have Oracle 32bit use
SLES 9 i386. If you have Oracle 64bit use SLES 9 x86_64. If you have a
new hardware platform first make sure whether SLES 9 is supported on
this platform or you may run into problems with driver/hardware
incompabilities.

You need to install the appropriate Java library and maybe some other
correct library and kernel versions. Only do this if you are a Linux and
Oracle crack and love to invest time in solving problems and compiling
stuff from source. ;-)
