Sorry, but I built this install server from scratch utilizing SLES-9 SP3.
I have had no issues with installation using this source in the past with a
wide variety of hardware.
I believe that this problem is directly a function of the installer not
properly identifying the proper device driver.
Novell (SuSE) support did get me down the right path, and therefore I was able
to continue with server installation.
