Subject: Re: [suse-sles-e] SLES 10 Open Beta - When?

am with Alexi on this one, the types on installations that the opensuse
project is likely to be put on are not going to be complex environments. The
SLES10 installations will be placed on bigger hardware, complex raid, more
exotic hardware and indeed have much more expected of it. Our SLES10
installs are destined for some very complex equipment, I fully expect SLES10
has not been tested on this type of hardware. SLES10 and opensuse cannot be
compared except at basic debug level, the more complex environments will
produce a smaller but more difficult set of bugs to fix.

In my opinion there should have been a SLES open BETA, it was a mistake that
it was not.
