Consider to based your script on /etc/init.d/skeleton and you'll be able
to let insserv - see the manpage of insserv for more details - take care
about the position of your service in between the others.
You might have the requirement to start some services before your
service/ program. E.g. syslog, snmpd, or a MTA.
