Subject: [suse-sles-e] Problem with two processors on HP server

Hi everybody!

I have installed Suse Enterprise 9 on a HP ProLiant ML350 server with two
Intel Xeon 3.06 GHz CPUs.

Everything works fine, but when I use the "top" bash command I can only see
a single CPU row in the header. I'm pretty sure to have seen on other server
two CPU rows with the same S.O. and command.

At boot time, I can see the BIOS's messages indicating the precense of two
equal processors. Also, in the Hardware section of YAST appear as four of
them.

At this time I really don't know what's going on with the server?

I'd like to know if the server is working only with one of the processors,
or maybe the second works only in the case the first one goes out, or the
S.O doesn't support two CPUs architecture or the two are considered as one
by the top command, etc.

If I need to do a BIOS or hardware adjust, where can I find information
about it?

In addition, I really apreciate if you could tell me some way to be sure if
the server is working with one or two processors at the same time.

Thanks in advanced for all your help!
