I'm mucking around trying to mount the DVD iso and sharing it via NFS
for installations. Is this possible? It seems to work partially for
me.
Since my test server has no DVD I boot from CD1. The nfs share seems
to
mount okay during the install but it fails when I try to select
packages. There is a an error message "no catalogue..." and there are
no
packages listed.
I did see the instructions for using CDs for SLES9
(http://www.novell.com/coolsolutions/feature/15522.html) and trying to
get away without copying all the files from the CDs to the filesystem.
/Paul
