Subject: [suse-sles-e] Tape drives on SLES 9.0

Hi, Someone who is using high capacity DLT/SAIT tape drives.

I am using DLT4000 SCSI tape drive from Quantum and works fine.

But this is not the tape drive I want to use on the system.

I am running SuSE SLES 9.0 on Dell PowerEdge 2800.

System has a wide SCSI-3 controller and would reject DLT7000 or Super DLT
drive from quantum which work very well on other systems.

Right now I need to install the latest high capacity quantum drive.
