Hello,
I suppose suse_register or the yast module for registering sends the
product list to novell in order to register the servers for it.
'rug products' shows this:
install:~ # rug products
S | Name | Version | Category
--+-----------------------------------+---------+---------
i | SUSE-Linux-Enterprise-Server-i386 | 10-0 | add-on
But on the machine is also the SLE-SDK installed (via 'add-on products -
added _after_ installation).
install:~ # rug sl

I could not yet find out how to get the SDK registered with novell.
I tried deleting the installation source and re-registering - now i have
the following subsriptions:
install:~ # rug ca
Sub'd? | Name | Service
-------+--------------------------------------------------------+-------------------------------------------------------
Yes | SUSE-Linux-Enterprise-Server-i386-10-0-20060801-125136 |
SUSE-Linux-Enterprise-Server-i386-10-0-20060801-125136

Yes | SLES10-Updates |
https://update.novell.com
Yes | SLE10-Debuginfo-Updates |
https://update.novell.com
While on a freshly-installed test-system (with SDK added during
installation) i get the following catalogs:
linux-ebox:~ # rug ca
Sub'd? | Name | Service
-------+--------------------------------------------------------+-------------------------------------------------------
Yes | SLE10-SDK-Updates |
https://update.novell.com
Yes | SUSE-Linux-Enterprise-SDK-i386-10-0-20060901-044250 |
SUSE-Linux-Enterprise-SDK-i386-10-0-20060901-044250
Yes | SUSE-Linux-Enterprise-Server-i386-10-0-20060901-044153 |
SUSE-Linux-Enterprise-Server-i386-10-0-20060901-044153
Yes | SLES10-Updates |
https://update.novell.com
I don't think i need debuginfo-updates - but i would really really like
to have those SDK-Updates registered - hopefully without having to
reinstall the system.
Mit freundlichem Gruß/ with kind regards
