The problem is that they put out ZLM (Zenworks Linux Management). If
Zenworks only focused on Windows then you could chalk it up to a
Corporate decision to focus where the buck are and while that's
something that would make me sad it would be honest.
My problem is that they have released ZLM and it simply doesn't work
with Novell's flagship product. And now the Zenworks team seems to
have disappeared from the face of the earth. Where is the mailing
list or place where users can ask questions?
I'm to the point of buying some licenses just so I can complain that
their product doesn't work.
Now go and explain that to the Company's CFO!!!!!!!!!!!
Let's see - a conversation could go like this - Novell has this
product that would be really great if they ever got it to work but it
doesn't and I can't talk to anybody about what's wrong so I'd like to
buy some licenses so I can talk to somebody and find out if they will
ever get it to work!
Can't you just imagine the look on his/her face as they called the
funny farm to have you locked up in a rubber server room?
