yes, I do know that this controller doesn't have a write cache.
And therefore it should be similar to have a normal drive attached.
I asked because I would like to get a feeling about what someone could
expect. E.g. here on a 6 year old notebook ATA drive I get the same
performace of 1 MB/s.
