the lack of support ... that was precisely my point.
And that it has not at all been tested by SUSE. And in some cases an
RPM that you find may not be specifically packaged for SUSE, and so
files end up in different places, or you can't manage the install via
YAST, or you can't rely on SUSE updates, etc ...
