Well, if you want a tested version with support, there's always MySQL
Enterprise which someone else mentioned in this thread. We actually
purchased two copies of it at their "platinum" level. Some people may
balk for paying for something like that, but it's no different than M$
SQL, Oracle, Sybase ASE, Notes, etc. At least with MySQL Enterprise
the license is still free, just like the community version, but you
are paying for support from MySQL AB. And I must their support is
EXCELLENT.

BTW, I believe it's the enterprise version that's included with SLES.
You can tell the diff as the community version will be odd (e.g.
5.0.37) while the enterprise version will be even (e.g. 5.0.38).
