Hi all
We would like to update a stock the stock SLES9 SP3 kernel to the last
kernel security update.
We tried several ways, either from yast-onlineupdate or downloading
the rpm and launching rpm -Fvh but after the update it's impossible to
load the QLogic HBA driver modules
When we tried we received several "unknown symbols" errors, from dmesg:
qla2xxx: Unknown parameter `ql2xautorestore'
qla2400: Unknown symbol qla2x00_remove_one
qla2400: Unknown symbol qla2x00_probe_one
qla2300: Unknown symbol qla2x00_remove_one
qla2300: Unknown symbol qla2x00_probe_one
I've still the possibility to download the qlogic driver source from
the qlogic site and build them from source but the fact is that these
drivers are provided by the kernel-bigsmp rpm and modinfo says that
they are supported. Am I missing something?
Kind regards,
Gaël
