Hi all,

first thing i do with new hardware is running the bonnie disk
benchmark which is part of SLES.
You have to install it via software update.

Make yhure you use somthing like: cd <dir where you disk is>; bonnie -
s 2000

Publishing your results would be very helpful and interesting.
While you run bonnie have a look to systemlog with: sudo tail -f /var/
log/messages
