We ran Symatec's solution on a number of servers a few years back. We had
major headaches. The software required you to run specific versions of the
kernel, and Symantec was 6-9 months behind SuSE on releasing patches, so we
always had to run a 6-9 month old kernel.

We also had an issue which their tech support could not resolve having to do
with Symantec blowing away and rebuilding cron jobs.
