Subject: [suse-sles-e] SLES9 is abandoned?

What's about SP4 for SLES9?

Looks as Novell moved all efforts to SLES10 (which is still in toddler age, and having ZEN /broken YOU service/, no old thread libraries /incompatible with old apps/,
no KDE by default /so KDE is most likely abandoned de facto/, new iSCSI /not well tested/, not enough OCFSv2 installation base /bugs very likely/ and so on, I don's see, how to run stable production environment:
- no any (absolutely any) need to use SLES10 if you don't use XEN or some new features - SLES9 is much more stable and tested; so why we all are pushed to the SLES10 (with a chance that customer wil be kicked out of SuSe at all)?
- no SP4 for SLES9 (of course you can upgrade by YOU, because YOU do work in sles9, but it is not an easy way/. Having in mind that YOU update is pretty stable, what's the problem to integrate it into SP4?

(To compare - SLES9 SP3 is equivalent of RHEL4 / Ora4.4, which are both 100% supported and developed. And it is exactly what productions need - stable and well established server OS, not experimental one. Desktop and OpenSoiurce OS is another story, and OpenSuSe10.2 / SLED10 are both in the right time and in the right place.).
