It means that you are running poorly tested (in the field) combination. It
don't mean, that XFS don't work, but risk of failure is much higher than on
ReiserFS (because it is used by 90% of SuSe community) or ext3 (becasuse it
is used by 90% of other Linuxes). If next SLES11 (for exqmple) wil come with
ext3 default, then I never ever try ReisreFS for production on it. XFS was a
great FS, but I can use it only if it have enough usage base - such as _used
by XXX linux by default_ or _used in Oracle by default_, or I have a very
good stress lab and can test it al myself.
Example: Few people from oracle-suse list tried to run XFS for Oracle, most
hit a serious problems and switched to ext3 or reiserfs.
