You were right, I mis-pasted the wrong line, it looks like:
hpux:/usr/sap/interfaces /usr/sap/interfaces nfs
timeo=14,intr 1 1
There's no firewall in between the servers, they're in the same subnet.

Hi Sascha,
I don't think that's the issue here, if I run mount -a manually, it goes
alright, the "hpux" hostname, is defined in the /etc/hosts as well.
