I'm not sure to understand that last sentence: does it mean that I
will have to update to SP1 to have security updates for SLES10 or can

If I can avoid it, I would really prefer not to install the SP1 on my
servers because it's my understanding that it's not "just" a
collection of security updates, isn't it?
