Well, to some degree.
You received the service pack as-is with a set of patches. All updates
continued to be in the same stream, both "normal" and "service pack"
updates.
Now for SLE10 there is need to select the "optional" migrate-to-sp1 patch
to get actually migrated, and different channels on the update server.
But even with SLES 9 we always assumed that you installed the Service
Pack updates when doing the ongoing security updates.
