Hello all,
we are currently preparing SLES9 SP4. It consists of a wrap-up of all
maintenance updates for SLES9 SP3, plus hardware enablement for selected
new hardware.
We are considering to do an authorized Beta program for this product, to
get it exposed to a range of hardware we don't have inhouse. The beta
phase will start mid of august.
This is not a new product like SLES10 (and even SLES10 SP1) was, there
are virtually no new features compared to SLES9 SP3, except for the
hardware enablement. But it is important to make sure that it still
works on the old hardware, as well as on new hardware.
If you are interested in participating in a SLES9 SP4 Beta program,
ideally using SLES9 SP3 in a productive environment, please drop me a
mail. If there is enough interest, we will set up a Beta program.
Regards,
Rasmus
