To determine what "lookup type" is supported by
Postfix, run "postconf -m". If mysql isn't listed,
then it wasn't added during the package build, but
this can be added (as you alluded to).
If you opt to build/customize the postfix rpm in order
to support mysql, be sure to set postfix as a package
not allowed to updated or upgraded. In SLES 9 this
was the taboo option, which I posted some instructions
to this list on how to use the taboo option, but I
haven't played around with SLES 10 (yet). 8-)
If you're needing info on Postfix, Wietse's web site
(www.postfix.org) has some great documentation, but
pay close attention to the web site's info on which
postfix version the documentation applies to. Postfix
2.3 options in main.cf are significantly different
than version 2.2.
