Thanks Marcus. With this in mind, is there a timeline when SLES 9 will support pam_tally? Or better yet, is there a PAM approach/aternative to locking out account for a window of time, and automatically unlocking these accounts? I'm sure some will want locked accounts to stay locked until manually being unlocked.

The SLES9 version of pam_tally does not know these options yet.
