Hmm.

It have new open-iscsi which should support iSCSI boot. But as I could
understand, it don't do it yet, and then iSCSI is so poorly documented and
poorly aligned with the system, that you never know.

(It works, after a few hacks - I test it with multipath and lvm. Multipath
works out of the box /but you can't control passes, as you used to with
Cisco iSCSI and port preferences/. LVM dont work with multipath and iSCSI.
New 'hotplug' option is not configured for _lvm over multipath over iscsi_.
iscsi module have not all necessary delays /if you try it without delays,
results are unpredictable/. So if you like to hack, you will be able to make
it work, I am sure. Taking documentation from OpenSuSe and playing with
SLES10.)

System deserve a try.
