On opensuse 10.2 the php is php5. It seems that the rpms use php5 in
their pathing. Try the src rpms from opensuse 10.2 or sles 10 and with
some fiddling they should be able to build on your sles 9 system.
And install without conflict with the existing sles 9 php 4
