Hello,
i have installed an SLES9 SP3 with all the latest updates.
On this box i then installed lprng because an software on this maschin
can not use cups.
The lprng works fine.
Now i installed samba on the system. I have a very simple smb.conf file
where i have the following entree in the global section:
printing = LPRNG
When i try to start samba in /var/log/messages are the following lines
loged every secound:
Oct 30 14:21:07 servername lpd[3112]: connection from 127.0.0.1
Oct 30 14:21:07 servername SERVER[27815]: Dispatch_input: bad request
line 'POST / HTTP/1.1' from 127.0.0.1 port 44562
At this time i can see in top the following:
%CPU %MEM
TIME+ COMMAND
3112 lp 25 0 35472 33m 812 R 41.3 1.1 2:04.00 lpd
8143 root 15 0 9152 2604 2084 S 13.3 0.1 0:02.24 smbd
Have anyone an idea where my problem is??
What must i change to use the samba with lprng??
