For production use, I would still stick with VMware. For an SMB, I'd
go with VMware Server then purchase VirtualCenter for VMware Server
along with some basic support. That's still much more cost effective
than purchasing Virtual Infrastructure.
Xen is getting better, and I've seen Novell press releases about large
companies using or beginning to implement Xen. But I think Xen is
still isn't a mature enough technology to use in serious production
environments.
