Hello all,
I have a new installation of slss 8 that does not appear to be working properly. Basiclly all I have done is install Suse and then apply update 3.
The manual states that I can use some web-interface tools by pointing my browser to the ip address of the new server.
When I do this I get the message "/start/index.pl" not found on this server. When I look on the filesystem /srv/www/start/index.pl does in fact exisit.
By modifing the httpd.conf file I can get index.pl to be recognized but then it complains about not being able to connect to the ldap server.
I do have apache,web-slos and ldap installed and running and in fact I have reinstalled them many times.
Each time I get the same result, also running SuSeconfig from the command line doesn't appear to help either.
Is there something else I should try or did I miss a step during setup?
