Hi Joao,
Sure, it is possible!
Just google for imap, cyrus, postfix, mailserver etc. and decide wich set up
is good for your needs.
Or, if you don't want to get it all to work by yourself, take the SLOX
(Suse-Linux-OpenXchange-Server)!
