I'm trying to install SuSE 7 on a Sparc 20 that will run as a headless
workstation. Can the installation be accomplished with a serial terminal
and no monitor? I've tried to do this with a V420 hooked up to the serial
port. I quickly get to the language selection portion but cannot seem to
navigate to where I can select English. The tab key allows me to move
around various portions of the screen, but I can't figure out how to select
English as the language.
I suppose that I could slap a monitor and keyboard on the system to do the
installation, but then I'd need to know how to configure the thing to
correctly establish a console on the serial port after the fact.
I'm using a set of CDs purchased from linux system labs.
Your guidance will, of course, be greatly appreciated.
