Subject: kde2 kdmrc "logout" becomes "quit"?

i seemed to have gotten it working, however i had a further question... it
appears the "Logout" button from kde 1.1.2 which gave several options of
shutdown, shutdown and restart, and restart x server... now there is only
the option of "quit" which takes you to the console, where you must first
login as root and then reboot. is this the new default behavior or did i
break something? also, is it possible to get the old behavior back in
someway. i've tried playing with the kdmrc settings and cut and paste
between the 1.1.2 kdmrc and the 2.0.1 kdmrc but no dice so far. is it even
    possible?

    Sure there is :-)

    Stop XDM

    In /sbin/init.d/xdm change "/opt/kde/bin/kdm" to "/opt/kde2/bin/kdm"

    Remove ( or rename ) /opt/kde/share/config/kdmrc

Edit /opt/kde2/share/config/kdmrc to suit your needs

    Start XDM

That should do the trick :)
