Subject: Trouble installing Suse7.0 on Sun Sparc IPC4

    Hey,

my name is Helge and I recently got a Sparc IPC4. For I run Suse-Linux on my PC-Systems, I was glad to see Suse providing a Sparc-distribution, too.
Though I am not a newbie in Linux and Unix, I have really no idea how getting this OS installed.
Do I need floppy-disks or is the CD bootable (booting with boot sd(0,4,0) brings an "Bad magic file number"-error on the screen, while cdrom starts spinning).
Is there anywhere out there a step-by-step-installation-guide ( I am quite sure I am not the first user with those problems) or a list-member who can help a sparc-newbie?
Every help is welcome, because I did not find the Suse-Manual helpful at all, documents seem to be taken without changes from Suse-Linux 6.2 - for PC-Systems ;-)

    Helge
