well i know i've heard this discussed before, but i am unable to find an
archive of this list.....
so, my question:
i bought a sparc without a monitor or keyboard, i loaded SuSE via
network and a serial terminal.
then, recently, i bought a type 4 and a type 5 keyboard and a used SUN
monitor. boot goes fine, then at login prompt my keyboard ( doesn't
matter which one ) print gibberish ascii characters.
seems like i remember that the problem was a termcap setting or
something. i haven't tried yast yet,
but is there something in yast that will let me set the keyboard type?
