install on a sparc10

Subject: install on a sparc10

    I have tried to install SuSe onto my sparc10, using Yast, and Yast2 but both
    of them fall over.Yast2 locks out before packages are even installed, Yast
    reports errors when it gets to install packages after and including Sendmail

    I understand that there are problems installing on a sparc10 but people have
    done it, what was the procedure for this.

    I hope somebody can help me with this as i don't like RedHat and would
    rather go back to the old favouite
