Hi !

On a single processor Machine it is slightly faster than an Intel-Machine.

But regarding a larger configuration it sucks (right now).

I have tried to install just for fun on a E450(4 x 450Mhz and 4GB Memory)
but to no avail. (Was just a try,the machine was brand new).
I have installed it on a U60 with 2x450MHz, and it is a lot slower than
Solaris 2.6 (my only Comparison on this type of machine).

For Developers:
The gcc is a joke in comparison to the Workshop or Forte Compiler from
SUN.

But, this is just my opinion. ;-)

Right know i am doing a full evaluation on the U10.

This is the only machine available for a longer term.
