    Well the deed is done,

I have installed successfully on the Tatung COMPStation U10. System config
as follows: Ultra AXi system board, 512 MB, 333 Ultra Sparc IIi CPU, 4.3 GB
    F/W SE SCSI Creator 2, 2D.

This thing is a rocket. I am very impressed with the performance. The
installation went very smooth. So far everything works. KDE looks great on
the 20" Sun tube. I believe I have found my next desktop for quite a while
to come. The only thing it did not find was the sound system. I will
    configure that later.

Thanks to all who provided their input and insight before my installation.

    Cheers,

    Mike N
