I have an SS5/110 here with 64MB of RAM and a 1GB disk that the
installation went perfectly well on. I can move a little more RAM or
disk onto it (I can move the 2GB disk from my now-idle SS20 into it or
stick an external spare 4GB disk onto it (that I normally have a copy of
Solaris on)). Basically, I can try to build a testcase here which is
similar to yours.
Only if dire will I move my SS5/70 into being the test machine... it's
currently being my router/dns/dhcp/etc. machine with over 93 days of
uptime. ;)

Chris, you prick. :) You know where to find me on IRC (OpenProjects,
irc.linux.com, #sparc ... if you've suddenly forgotten). Find me there
sometime and we'll try to set me up similarly.
It's funny... some people have been complaining about SCSI errors with
their SS5's... the only problems I've had with an SS5 is the 170MHz one,
but that's a special case.
Anyways, if I don't see it on one of my machines, you can probably give
me more info by looking at the other virtual consoles during
installation. I'll talk to you soon...
