I was running RH6.2 on my sparc10 (128Mb - dual processor) running fine
although there was alot more configuration to be done in comparison with x86
SuSe to get Samba , apache and INN working, but the Xservers were working
great, especially in GNOME. I only went to RH because i couldn't get SuSe to
install from my ISO Images. But after many tries, i finally managed to get
SuSe to install, but Apache needs the configuration work, I have'nt tried
Samba yet, and the Xwindows don't work Yast2 logged errors when installing
Xsun24.rpm and manually installing Xsun24.rpm does not work. It also logged
errors installing other packages as well
My next distro will be Mandrake, if this does not satisfy the i will
reverting back to RH6.2 (which i don't want to do as i prefer SuSe)
regards
Patrick
