    Thanks for all the replies.
    I will try to re-download and burn the first CD, just in case that's the
    problem... it's a "cheap" fix.

    However, one more question has come up since I read Lou Picciano's
    reply. Does this bootable CD expect my SCSI disk to be at any specific
    address ? I've had similar problems before with install programs expecting
    the disk at address 0 or something. Mine is at address 3 right now, it's
    an internal disk and it's the only SCSI device I have right now. The
    system boots fine with the old Solaris system that's on it, so I'll assume
    the HD is OK.
