This is probably been answered before, but please bare with me. I have
just install SuSE on my Sparc5(70Mhz) after finding the corrected boot
disk and everything is working great except when I boot the machine.
After I turn on and silo appears I get the message "/silo.conf" not
found. Using the boot disk I can boot the system fine, I have run yast1 a
few time to reconfigure silo but each time I get an error message. I
really need help.
I have 2 internal hard drives
sda (id1) with "/boot"(sda1) and "/"(sda2) (2gig)
sdb (id3) with "/home"(sdb1), "/dad"(sdb2) and "swap"(sdb4)
sdb has another partition called "whole disk" which is sab3.
I have silo installed in the boot sector of the "/boot" partition at the
moment and silo.conf is also there with a link to "/etc/silo.conf"
As this is my first experience with sun equipment I am really lost to
know what to try next. I hope I have supplied enough information.
