Installation on IPX failed

Subject: Installation on IPX failed

    Hello all,

    I've tried to install SuSE 7.0 on my Sun Sparc IPX last night. (64 Mb, +/-
    500 mb hard disk)
    It works fine till it said to me RPM detected an error in a file d_kerndist
    (something like that);
    after that it tolds me it could not set the root password ... and could not
    write in /etc/rc.local or something.

    I tryed to install the default packages; (I had to remove some
    manually...but it was maybe not sufficient enough...it left me around 15 mb
    after the packages selections...)

    Any idea on what was going on ?
