Subject: how to install from CD 2?

    hi -

I am 99% done with the install on a Sparc 10 ... after a slight
modification of the tftp setup in /etc/inetd.conf.

I went through installing the 84 packages for the minimum install -
leaving the SMP kernel to be installed on CD 2.

    Here's the problem -

How do I get the kernel installed from CD 2... when I have /cdrom
from an x86 machine mounted via nfs?

I tried stopping the nfs server on the x86 machine, unmounting /cdrom,
inserting CD 2, restarting nfs server, etc... but I get a complaint to the
effect that the CD id/label doesn't match (It knows I switched the
    CD... and doesn't like it)

I can start the install again... and get to the point where it tells me I
only have one more package (pads - kernel, etc...) and it politely asks me
if I want to install it - but I can't figure out how to get it onto the
system... since I don't actually have a CD on the Sun.

Any hints would be greatly appreciated ;-)

    - Jason
