    Hmm... I think there are two different 10/100 sbus cards... the "hme"
    and the "be"... the hme is obviously supported, but I don't believe that
    the "be" is (at least, I've never tried it). The be is a card with 2
    layers (the top layer is small)... it's part numbers are 501-2450,
    501-2646 and 501-2655. The hme's part number is 501-2919. If you don't
    any of these part numbers, then I dunno offhand what it is. :)

    Yep, I installed SuSE the other night on my SS5/110, which I considered
    to be a fair test (unfair would have been the SS5/170 which doesn't have
    proper kernel support at the moment). The install went fine and the
    machine is happily running SuSE 7.0 now... and for the most part seems
    to be running stably.
