    Yes.. I can vouch for that .... 2.4 is not very stable... But 2.2.18
    seems to be real slick....

    Hm, if I compare the downloads from only ftp.suse.com with the very few reports here (the most one are even for 7.0, not 7.1) I don't know where it should not be stable. I don't know of any major bugs except kernel 2.4. kernel 2.4 is not stable and under heavy development for SPARC.
