    Please try the update from ftp.suse.com or any mirror
    in the update/7.1/disks directory.

    Looks like the termination of the SCSI bus is not correct.
    The Linux driver has some problems with this.
    For my SPARCstation1 I need an extra terminator for the
    external connector, even if I don't have external drives.
