Suse 7.1 has Kernel 2.2.18?

Subject: Suse 7.1 has Kernel 2.2.18?

    Hi,
       I'm trying install Suse 7.1 (from ISO image) for 1st time just to get a
    sense of Suse installation, and I thought that 7.1 would have kernel 2.4 as
    advertised in www.suse.com but it has 2.2.18.

    Does anyone knows if 2.2.18 is just for installation purposes or in Suse 7.1
    for Sparc there is no Kernel 2.4 yet.

    BTW during install process I received some messages about function XX no
    implemented. Is this normal? Kernel 2.2.16 doesn't have that problem.
