    Yes true, but the Sun doesn't use HVD drives, only SE Narrow drives in the
    SS20,
    so LVD drives will work without any problems, also most LVD drives will auto
    switch
    to SE mode without jumpers.

    I have just come across a Sun Javastation E, a rare beast that never made it
    into production.

    Is anyone interested in it as a Linux box, it's essentially a Sparc 4 with a
    PCI bus and
    room for an IDE drive and CDROM.
